autobiography

It's been a week since my last post. I have been pretty busy trying to get organized with a homework schedule, and so far it hasn't happened. I just grab the computer and log on when I can. This weekend I plan on working on my autobiography for my self directed learning class. I'm finding it difficult to get started, but thankfully the LIS handbook gives a good example of an outline.

I know what you mean about getting started on something, especially an autobiography. Those were so fun to do. I found that once you put pen to paper (or in most students' cases, finger to keyboard) it seems to get easier. I don't know about you, Beth but I love to talk about myself, so I found it to be quite fun and interesting getting to know myself all over again. There were some things that came out through my writing that I didn't even realized I remembered from my childhood and it really took me back on a stroll down memory lane.

I'm quite sure you'll have so much fun writing your autobiography, but if you need some help, let me know because I still have all of books from LIS 301. Sometimes it helps just to get a boost from another person to get us going whether that's a kind word of support or help from a book.

Peace & Blessings,
Pam (Js)

Sorry, I just reread my post and found a slight mistake.....

I meant "all of my books", lol.

Hi Beth, My name is Beth too. I hope that dosen't confuse both of us but you have a great name!! I remember that assignment...it took me a while to figure out what to leave in/leave out. The example assignments helped me a lot. I remember they wanted it to have a sort of theme for a framework. I did mine like chapters of a book. I think some other examples used mosaic pieces or stained glass or something?? Have fun. Beth C.

I remember writing my autobiography for class. It was really difficult for me. I'm not used to focusing on myself. :)
